TOO RELEVANT TO BE ABANDONED

relevant
Often times I’ve sat down asking myself some questions which only just end up as rhetorics. I’ve pondered on why the fishes can’t just do without water, why the birds cannot do without the sky, why the body cannot do without cosmetics, why most ladies cannot do without their make overs, why toddlers cannot do without their feeders and toys, students with social lives and what have you. It is suffice to know that aside the fact that these objects or subject classes as illustrated above compliment one another, one needs one more than the other does. For instance, rivers and ponds will not cease to exist even though without fishes in it. The fishes are the ones whose survival is tied to the presence of the pond and river.
Why do firms need stakeholders?, why do employees pursue employers this day with their certificates?, though it just wasn’t like that years ago, it was the direct opposite. The same way waters are immensely relevant to be abandoned by the fishes, so are some individuals too relevant to be abandoned. Not doing away with you easily, not easily being dispensable, disposable or neglected infers relevance. We wonder why some business organization place priority over one employee or staff more than the other. Nothing is being conducted without the knowing of these employees. Don’t get too busy with worries over people not giving you the attention you so need, let them be aware you are too useful, too relevant to be abandoned or tossed around like a used piece of cornflakes pack. You are relevant, extremely needed and wanted somewhere. Most times, the only solution is looking for that one place where you’ll be valued, optimally utilized in potentials and useful. Are you in a team or group where your thoughts and opinions are undervalued?, let them realize how useful and relevant you are, what they don’t value is what several other people will diligently want to have around them.
You need not be available everytime at every place. Availability is not productivity. Become proactive, create services and own wealth of ideas. People only need you when they know you can meet their required or immediate needs. You must live with priority, set your principles, abide by them, place a value on what you carry because if you don’t first value what you carry, those around will not or will even undervalue it. Matt Haig wrote; ‘If you think something is ugly, look harder, ugliness is just a failure of seeing’.
Remain positive, become indispensable, you can’t be abandoned because you are really needed…Remain too relevant and useful to be abandoned….Your brother
