I saw the letter you sent to my mailbox, Jackson and I must say you are only being human. This has nothing whatsoever to do with carnality. Now, listen to me and open your ears well, if she does not appeal to you in all the three dimensions; spirit, soul and body, don’t marry her.

You are not a spirit trying to marry a spirit. I know you have no issue about the spirit and the soul but hey, spirituality is no substitute for physical attraction. Don’t put yourself under unnecessary sociological pressures. If you are not careful, they could end you in a mental asylum. If in her physical body, you can’t find something attracting you to her, read my lips, she isn’t the ‘she’. It could be her long legs, neck, nose, facial outlook, breasts, hips, derriere, smile, white teeth, glossy eyes but you sure got to find something physical attractive about her. I’m not emphasizing your absolute dependence of choice of relationship on just physical attraction because they will fade away sooner or later but I’m only saying it would be foolishness on your part if you have to fast and pray for three days before you can ‘feel’ anything about her whenever she is with you. You aren’t going to speak in tongues or just only read the bible all throughout your marriage. Physical affection matters also brother Jackson.

You have to get out of religious impoverishment. After marriage, there may be no bio re-engineering process that you can be capacitated of. David was a man of wisdom, all his wives were extremely beautiful, no wonder he was a man after God’s heart! It takes an extraordinary resourcery to appreciate when a woman is good but doesn’t look good! You can’t marry a lady who doesn’t take her bath regularly all on the name of being washed by the blood of Jesus! That’s a crazy absurdity. It’s gonna be a pity if you can’t give your wife a French kiss after marriage because she suffers mouth odour. She must also be presentable in the public. She doesn’t have to wear designers’ clothes before she can be. A second hand cloth could even make her look like a queen. Would you prefer a lady who wears clothes or a lady that clothes wear? Even her spoken English must be well articulated, you wouldn’t want to date a lady who pronounces ‘serve’ as ‘saf’ in front of your friends. Her intellectual capabilities must be apt. you should be able to sit down with her three or four hours stretch engaging her in a discussion and you wouldn’t get bored for a millisecond. You must understand that this is your life we are talking about. Gather enough data to make a sound judgement that she is the appropriate girl of your dreams. Never marry someone you do not love!

I have told you before that there is no law under heaven or whatsoever that dictates a particular girl to marry. If she does not suit your taste physically, let her be. Your pastor has no right to dictate who you should marry, it’s unscriptural! The fact that she sings beautifully with her sonorous voice in the choir doesn’t really amount to anything. The greatest will God has given to us is not our minds but our free wills. That’s why you can choose based on your preference. Remember, when a courtship is not thorough, the untreated issues will surface in marriage. Be extremely careful!
