Some persons are of the opinion that children (even black children) can be disciplined without being spanked and these were the alternative methods suggested. Well I don’t have children at the moment so I cant say. Mothers in the house,what can you say to this? potential mothers would you want adopt these methods? and everybody do you feel your parents would have stilled brought up a n upright young woman without spanking?

Humans are quick to pick out one negative thing and forget 99 positive things a person has done and parents apply this to their children as well. When you culture yourself to go out of your way to praise a child’s good behavior and reward him/her for it, that child will also focus on doing good so he/she can get your appraisal.

You can withdraw your child’s phone, toy, video game or even privileges as a form of correction. When they know their valuables will be taken from them they will refrain from repeating such acts.
